Let’s talk CYRUS! With Dimitra Mitka

Hi, I am Dimitra Mitka and I am the Director of Chamber of Halkidiki.

The Chamber of Halkidiki has many registered members of the manufacturing sector and has the role of a training organiser within CYRUS. Indeed, we possess a lot of relevant infrastructures, venues, halls and a lot of experience in planning and organising training. Therefore, we contribute to CYRUS by delivering the training material mostly at the national level, both through physical training and through digital training.

As the director of the Chamber of Halkidiki, I contribute to the activities of CYRUS mostly at the national level, where I communicate regularly with the Greek stakeholders and, of course, the members of our chambers to inform them about how they can benefit from the project activities and the results.

What has been the most formative realisation for you in the project so far?

The most formative realisation from our participation in CYRUS, thus far, is the fact that we have understood how important and crucial the matter of cybersecurity is, even for smaller and medium sized enterprises that mostly our chamber represents. This topic is something that businesses must be more aware of in Greece, especially during the time we live in, where technology is advancing rapidly and more and more transactions happen digitally.
