CYRUS successfully passes mid-term review

In June 2024, the first half of the project CYRUS came to a close, and by July, it had successfully passed its mid-term review. The evaluation, which took place in Rome, marked an important milestone for the project, which began in January 2023.

The review, conducted by an independent expert and a representative from the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), assessed the project’s progress in developing and delivering cybersecurity trainings for employees at all levels. These courses are designed to equip the workforce in the transport and manufacturing sector with knowledge and skills needed to identify and mitigate cyber threats.

During the review, the project partners presented their findings on cybersecurity skill gaps in the two sectors, various cyber threat scenarios and the workforce profiles that would benefit from cybersecurity training. They also highlighted the status of the course design and development process as well as their plans for the second half of the project.

After completing all pilot trainings by the end of October, the project partners will evaluate the feedback and refine the trainings for the final delivery, scheduled for February 2025. This process enhances the effectiveness of the final version of the trainings.
