Partners of the CYRUS project came together for a two-day plenary meeting to review progress, discuss key achievements and lessons learned as well as coordinate the final phase of the project in Darmstadt on 4–5 February 2026, . Representatives from across the consortium reflected the project in presentations and working sessions.

The meeting provided a comprehensive overview of project progress, including stable and positive trends across key performance indicators, a growing catalogue of more than 40 training courses and strong participation in e-learning, webinars and in-person sessions.

Partners highlighted the value of the multimodal and multilingual training formats, the application of adult learning principles and insights gathered from satisfaction surveys. These insights had already helped refine course content, address emerging topics such as artificial intelligence and data protection and improve accessibility for different sectors and proficiency levels.

Looking ahead, discussions focused on sustainability, exploitation pathways and preparation for the final review meeting.

Partners reflected on lessons learned, such as the importance of flexibility, early technical planning, and locally adapted communication, while also addressing challenges related to market competition and engagement of small and medium-sized enterprises. The lessons learned will be put together in a leaflet to support future projects.

The meeting concluded with clear action points for final deliverables, ongoing promotion of training activities, and close collaboration to ensure that the project’s results remain relevant and impactful beyond its formal end.
