Cybersecurity training from CYRUS stays free of charge
Individuals across Europe will be able to continue accessing free cybersecurity training courses for four additional months through the EU-funded CYRUS project. The initiative, dedicated to improving cybersecurity skills and awareness across Europe, has been officially extended and will now run until April 2026 instead of concluding in December 2025.
This extension supports the continued delivery of CYRUS’s free cybersecurity training courses, which are tailored to learners at beginner, intermediate and expert levels. Offered in six languages, the courses are designed to equip young talents, jobseekers, entrepreneurs and SME professionals with practical digital security skills.
As part of the extension, all CYRUS online training courses will remain available for free until the end of February 2026. This ensures that even more individuals and organisations across Europe can benefit from accessible, high-quality cybersecurity education.
“The extension allows us to continue empowering people across Europe with essential cybersecurity skills,” says Alessia Golfetti. “We see every learner as part of Europe’s first line of defence against cyber threats. And we are glad the extension allows us to keep that door open a little longer”.
By extending its activities into 2026, CYRUS continues to contribute to the European Commission’s efforts to close the cybersecurity skills gap and build a more resilient, secure and digitally skilled Europe.
