This course equips participants with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to prepare an organisation for potential cyber incidents. The preparation phase is a critical component of incident response, ensuring that teams are ready, systems are secure and proper protocols are in place to prevent or minimise security incidents.

- Identifying tools and resources for incident analysis and response
- Establishing secure communication protocols and reporting systems
- Conducting risk assessments and securing hosts through configurations and patching
- Deploying malware prevention software and enhancing network security
- Implementing user awareness training to reduce the frequency of incidents
